The relentless and game-changing ‘GAIL-Indian Speed Star’ endeavours to create a group of athletes with talent which will very possibly bring glory for India in the track events at the world’s most prestigious sporting event - the Olympics 2020/2024. Renowned sportspersons like P.T. Usha, Rachita Mistry, Anuradha Biswal and Kavita Raut are the members of the selection committee that will support the selection process and guide coaching camps. As members of the committee their role would include formulating the selection criteria for the 'GAIL-Indian Speed Star' program, and developing the training plans and modules for the selected athletes at the national Level. District trials were organized under the observation of vigilant coaches and selectors, appointed by the selection committee. The selection of the athletes was based on talent identification and the selection criteria set by the selection committee.
Although the project has launched very recently, trials were organized at 55 districts across 10 states in which more than 25,000 children participated out of which 850 children made it to the state level!
Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of state (I/C) Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dutee Chand, Anuradha Biswal and Purnima Hembram; chose determined young athletes from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 14 boys and girls have qualified for the national level trials while Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan appreciated and inspired the candidates chosen for national level trials
Camp and Selection: The first state level camp and trial was conducted on 27th -28th of February, 2016 in SawaiMaan Singh Stadium, Jaipur where 60 children participated out of which 4 qualified for the next level. Indiblogger Unveils IndiPR.com – Get Your Business Publicised by Influencers in Just 72 Hours

For those of you who live under a rock, Indiblogger is the largest Indian blogging network that has ever existed. Just a few days back, Indiblogger launched IndiPR.com, which is a boon to businesses, start-ups and even bloggers. IndiPR.com helps businesses (of whatever size they may be) and start-ups, connect with the right influencers, to help them publicize them their product/service.

What makes IndiPR.com different?
It’s not hard for businesses to find bloggers. What’s hard is for businesses to find the ‘right’ bloggers. Businesses generally end up wasting money by paying influencers (who may or may not put their blood, sweat and tears into their work), who manage to reach large audiences, but not the targeted audiences. Now, you can’t be like Nick Fury and spend all your time and energy in putting together the perfect team. If you did that, you would probably have no time to run the business you are trying to promote. Furthermore, sometimes you may want to promote an event which is going to take place in the near future, such as launching of a product/service or some campaign. In such case, you need to get the event promoted as quickly as possible. This system helps you get articles from relevant influencers in less than 72 hours!

How does IndiPr.com do it?
Meet 'Automated Influencer Targeting Engine' (Nick named 'AITE'. Yes, it’s still a mouthful to say, but we didn't want to humanize it by giving it an actual name.) Once, the press release is uploaded, AITE automatically short-lists applications by bloggers based on various factors such as internal ratings, rankings and past performance. Short-listed, influencers research with the help of the press release and publish the articles on their respective websites/blogs.

I’m slow. I still don’t get it.
Here is a video, which we hope clears everything up:

I’m sceptical. Can I try it for free first?
Of course, Indiblogger is currently allowing you to try IndiPR.com for free. I suggest you make absolute use of this free trial. Every business can execute one free trial on IndiPR.com. Free trials are base packages that are given so that businesses can evaluate the system before they invest in it.  Extra reward points are awarded to bloggers who participate in free trials. These points get added to the blogger’s internal ratings and it helps them get a higher preference when applying for paid projects.

What’s in it for bloggers?
Apart from the revenue from paid assignments, bloggers also get to know about new events, products and services before the rest of the world does. If you write a really good article, some businesses may choose to promote your article themselves as well, which will lead to more traffic on your website or blog.

I need more details. Who can I get in touch with?

Here is what the Indiblogger Team has to say about IndiPR.com:
Anoop Johnson, Co-founder & Director of Marketing at IndiBlogger: “With a starting budget of just USD 150, a business of any size will be able to get their press releases published by influential bloggers with a few clicks.”

Renie Ravin, the Founder and CEO of IndiBlogger: “We believe that this system will help Influencers with fresh and new content on their site every day. In a way, you could be writing about the next Google without even realising its immense potential.”

Karthik DR, Co-founder & Business Head at IndiBlogger: “The amount of time that people spend in trying to identify and contact influencers is huge. With IndiPR.com, you don't have to worry about any of this as the system just needs your Press Release. The rest is history!”

Here is what others have to say: (subject to verification)
Winston Churchill: “IndiPR.com is going to be a bigger hit than the Dark Knight. I'm definitely going to blog about it.”
Sherlock Holmes: “Data, data, data. I cannot make bricks without clay. That’s why I'm going to take full advantage of the Free Trial of IndiPR.com, before Mark Zuckerberg acquires it.”
Anurag Kashyap: “@#*!”
Hope you liked the above article guys. If you did, then you will also be happy to know that this article too, was an outcome of the IndiPR.com programme.

Experience at Pampers Event

Last week I was lucky enough to get invited by Pampers to hear about the new Pampers Premium Care Pants. I must admit, I was curious. Pampers Pants were already great, and I couldn't think of any way in which they could possibly improve.
I gratefully accepted the invitation, and found myself sitting at JW Marriott, Sahar. I was greeted by a loving team and a magnificent entrance decorated with pictures of babies. Music was playing and people eagerly waited for the event to begin. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Mandira Bedi comes on stage. Yes, that’s right. The event was being hosted by the one and only Ms.  Mandira Bedi. There was a roar of applause and flashes of cameras.

Ms. Bedi also introduced on stage Child SleepConsultant Ajita Seethepalli, Pampers R & D Experts Dr. Wei Sing Long and the delightful Tara Sharma. They wasted no time and got right to what is always on every parent’s mind – their child’s health. They all knew exactly what parents were going through.
Then they showed some touching videos which made us all cry with joy. They were absolutely beautiful!
Dr. Wei Sing Long then performed some wacky experiments to prove the absorption power of Pampers Premium Care Pants and the baby lotion which prevents rashes. The other celebrities also joined the fun. I think everyone present at the event felt like a scientist that day.
They also took a poll, where we were supposed to vote for the softest diapers among three samples given to us. Sample no. 2 won hands down, and to nobody’s surprise, it turned out that sample no.2 was a sample of the material of new Pampers Premium Care Pants.
The event was fun as well as educational. They also took questions from the audience which was rather enlightening. Attending the event was a blessing for new parents like me.
The event ended on a high note where we were allowed to click pictures with Tara Sharma & Mandira Bedi. We thought it was over, when at the exit we were surprised to get a goody bag filled with Pampers Premium Care Pants and other personal hygiene products.
Pampers just gives and gives. I went home and proudly put on the Pampers Pants on my baby. He was never happier! Thank you Pampers for pampering our babies, as well as us!
